Missions Ministry
Grace 5 Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Virginia's Mission Department is directed by Missionary Joyce D. Bunch of Hampton, Virginia. Her team of volunteers travel throughout the commonwealth collaborating with local churches to bring hope to the hopeless and help to the helpless.
Main Goal
Our main goal in the Missions Ministry is to travel throughout Virginia and set up pop-up new and slightly used clothes giveaway stations, distribute back-to-school products in communities, provide toys and bicycles for children, and invite congregants to donate and become involved in this fulfilling ministry and upcoming events sponsored by the Missions Department. We are dedicated to serving our community and making a positive impact on the lives of those experiencing life's misfortunes.
Community Outreach and Economic Development
Our church is actively involved in key areas of community outreach and economic development, including partnerships with organizations such as the Foodbank of Virginia, USDA, Workforce of VA, NAACP, Social Justice and Urban League, Lifenet Health, and United Way. We are committed to addressing social and economic challenges and creating a better future for all.
Leadership Development Programs
At Grace 5 Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Virginia, we offer a variety of leadership development programs, including ministerial preparation courses, financial literacy courses, health screening, Bible literacy courses, and technology training. These programs are designed to empower individuals and equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to make a difference in their communities.
Ministry Opportunities
Our Missions Ministry offers a range of ministry opportunities, including Youth Community Ministry, Local Community Evangelism, and Music. We encourage congregants to become involved in these vital areas of service, and we provide photos to showcase the impactful work being done in each ministry.
